Bill Thompson And Elected Officials Hit The Streets in The Bronx, Participate in Caravan

This afternoon Bill Thompson was joined by elected officials from the Bronx, including former Borough President Freddy Ferrer, Assembly Member Nelson Castro, Assembly Member Jose Rivera and Corrections Officers Union President Norman Seabrook in The Bronx talking to voters and participating in a caravan.

The day began with a tour of small businesses Fordham Rd. where Bill talked to voters about the issues they face every day, including 10 million parking tickets issued last year, the lack of affordable housing and a rising unemployment rate.

After the walkthrough Bill boarded a flatbed truck with Ferrer, Castro, Rivera and Seabrook as they drove throughout the Bronx waving to and greeting supporters.
